Der Brunnenhof in Handthal

I went to eat there with my family on the weekend and the portions were unfortunately far too small and far too expensive for that. My daughter had ordered a salad for just under 15 euros and was then served 3 lettuce leaves. A few had also ordered a sauerbraten, which was inedible. It was very, very dry and didn't taste good at all. We then informed the cook and he became very aggressive and did not accept the criticism. It's a shame, but if I could I would give it zero stars. Never again!

The children's food was not satisfactory (children's schnitzel was still pink, but the nuggets were very dark brown) The main course salad did not come as ordered and was unfriendly removed without apology. All meals were served very delayed. Unfortunately did not live up to expectations

Staff is very friendly, the food is very recommendable. Only the innkeeper is questionable 🤷‍♂️

Amazingly upscale in price for the country, but excellent cuisine, even the schnitzel.

Never ask, the waiter (= boss?) Reacts completely annoyed. And if you want to pay by card, say so IMMEDIATELY, otherwise you will be snapped at !! A shame, because the kitchen is good. But I will NEVER eat there again!

As far as everything was okay. Coffee and cake were good. The restaurant was clean and nicely furnished. Beautiful garden . Is also located in a beautiful landscape. The boss was afterwards that they were served immediately and the tables had to be cleaned, but the somewhat unfriendly wait staff didn't arrive that quickly. You shouldn't talk about guests either, at least not so that they can hear it, even if it wasn't anything bad. Therefore 1 star less

Very cozy, beautiful beer garden, excellent food and service. The owner greets his guests in a very friendly manner and is definitely not on the lips 😉

It is okay to wait an hour for your meal when there is a lot of activity, but it is not at all that the boss treats his staff like dirt in front of the guests. One star for good food.

Trout was good, roast venison was a bit hard and the pork loin was so well roasted that it was hard to chew. It is a pity ... we are no longer coming with the quality 😥

Good economy. Very attentive and friendly service, who at 74 showed the unfriendly and lazy waiters that you can also enjoy your work. Don't think it's nice when the waiter counts his money while eating at the next table.

At the town center in Handthal the Brunnenhof is in the second row right next to a small chapel which we visited today on recommendation. At the house there are plenty of parking spaces and already when you get out of the car the beautiful and sunny Gartenwirtschaft in the eye which is also great decorated. The bright and friendly guest room also exudes a pleasant atmosphere. The toilets are accessible at ground level and otherwise no steps need to be overcome. Directly next to the parking lot is a small playground where children can let off steam after a meal. The service was extremely friendly, fast and it was also taken care of when the food was already at the table - without being intrusive. Also for a joke in between time was taken. The food was also served quickly, was deliciously delicious, everything was fresh and homemade and the large balanced portions at fair prices. We went for a walk to the coffee there and also there were very delicious homemade cakes and delicious coffee. A big compliment and many thanks for the wonderful stay at the whole "Brunnenhofteam" we would love to come back.
